Let me tell you what went into creating this stunning piece. First, we start with a beautiful veg-tanned leather from Hermann Oak (one of the few remaining American tanneries). Following the pieces being cut from the hide, Christian spent hours hand-tooling all of the details. After careful construction and assembly, the bag took shape. Then we needed the perfect hardware compliment. Once we found our solid brass hardware with details to match the tooling, we added some chunky charms to really set it off. As this bag ages, it will develop a rich caramel patina. Watch the video to see how it was made.
