Howl + Hide’s Limited Lifetime Guarantee
Howl + Hide offers a limited lifetime guarantee. This means we will repair or, at our discretion, replace leather products found to contain defects in material or workmanship (i.e., construction issues, zipper issues, or broken hardware). This warranty covers replacement parts, materials, and labor.
The warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, or products that have been modified in any way. This includes rips, tears, stains, or stretching due to wear and tear or excessive weight being carried. Natural characteristics of leather, such as small scars, creases, or color variation, are not considered defects.
Belts are not included in Howl + Hide’s lifetime guarantee. Canvas bags will be assessed by our production team before a determination is made on repair eligibility and options. All items marked “as-is” or “scratch ’n dent” are final sale items and are not covered by Howl + Hide’s limited lifetime guarantee.
For items that do not fall under our warranty, our team will assess the item to determine eligibility and cost for repairs.
To begin this process, customers should send all requests for warranty or repair work to howdy@howlandhide.com. Proof of purchase is required, so please include your order or receipt number and shipping address.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs when returning a bag to Howl + Hide. Howl + Hide will cover all shipping costs incurred when returning repaired or replaced items to the customer.

Howl + Hide’s Leather Care Recommendations
Take care of your Howl + Hide product, and it will only get better with time. We recommend regularly using a leather conditioner (here is our recommendation) to keep your product looking its best. Below are general guidelines to follow when caring for your Howl + Hide product.
General care:
Keep leather dry and away from heat, sunlight, and chemicals. Clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and use a leather cleaner or conditioner when needed.
Everyday use:
Avoid overfilling to prevent stretching, avoid rough surfaces to prevent scratches, and avoid rain. Wipe down regularly to remove dust and dirt.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. Use breathable dust bags (not plastic) to prevent damage during storage.
Maintenance tips:
Clean and air out regularly.
Blot moisture quickly and let it air dry naturally.
Condition every 2–3 months.
Test products on a hidden area first.
Avoid: Water exposure, machine washing, heat drying (radiators, dryers, hair dryers), ironing, solvents, and abrasive contact.
